Judged under Table A (One round NOT against the clock) Riders may be led or assisted. Riders entered in this class will only be eligible to enter Class 2 on the same day. All clear rounds win a special Eaglesfield rosette

Class 2 a. for Pony         Class 2b. for Horse

(jumped together with separate prizes)

HORSE/PONY INTRODUCTORY CLASS - DRAWN ORDER

Judged as Two Phase. Fences 2ft. Combinations of mount and rider entered in this class may only compete in Class 1 OR class 3 for ponies or 4 for horses on the same day.

Please note in this class Only pony riders 10 years & under with double clears will qualify for“CRICKLANDS”

Class 3      NOVICE PONY - DRAWN ORDER

Judged as a Two Phase or TABLE A7 2’3”. Combination of mount and rider may compete in

class 2a OR 5, but no other class on the same day.

Double Clear qualify for 2’3” Pony Championship at “Cricklands”

Class 4      NOVICE HORSE DRAWN ORDER

Judged under Table A7 or Two Phase.

Fences 2’3”- 2.6” in the first round. Combination of mount and rider may also compete

in class 2b OR 6, but no other class on the same day.

Double Clear qualify for 2’3” Horse  Championship at “Cricklands”

Class 5    INTERMEDIATE PONY

Judged under Table A7. Fences between 2’6” to 2’9” in the first round.

Double Clear qualify for 2’6” Pony Championship at “Cricklands”

Class 6    INTERMEDIATE HORSE

Judged under Table A7. Fences  between 2’6” to 2’9” In the first round.

Double Clear qualify for 2’6” Horse  Championship at “Cricklands”

Class 7    RESTRICTED OPEN PONY

Judged Under Table A7. Fences between 2’9” to 3’3” in the first round.

Double Clear qualify for 3’ Pony Championship at “Cricklands”

Class 8    RESTRICTED OPEN HORSE

Judged Under Table A7. Fences between 3’ to 3’6” in the first round.

Double Clear qualify for 3’ Horse Championship at “Cricklands”

Qualification for Eaglesfield Championship on 21st March 2010

First 6 placed combination of rider & mount, providing they jump a clear in the first round, qualify for that class in the championship.

2 double clears in a class during the winter season also qualify for that class in the Championships.

RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

 

1. The organizers reserve the right to a refuse any entry without giving any reason, or to limit

the number of entries. Classes will be limited. Please enter early.  

2. Practice fences will be flagged and must be jumped in the correct direction.

3. The judge’s decision will be final.

4. The event will run strictly in accordance with BSJA Rules.

5. The Organizers and Eaglesfield Equestrian Events Ltd. will not accept any Liability for

accidents, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, grooms, riders, spectators or any property owned by them. It is a condition of any entry to the premises or competition that exhibitors/spectators agree to indemnify the Organisers/Eaglesfield Equestrian Events Ltd against any legal action that may arise from any cause whatsoever connected with the event.

6. In accordance with BSJA Rule 82.21 no persons shall allow a stallion for which he/she is

responsible as owner lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precaution to ensure other competitors and members of the public are not at risk of injury.

7. Objections must be made in writing to the secretary with 30 minutes of any incident

together with a deposit of £10.00. The deposit will be repaid if the objection is sustained.

8. Riding hats MUST be worn at all times when mounted and comply BSJA rules.

9. The organizers reserve the right to change the classification of any class if they deem it

advisable.

10. No Lunging allowed on the show ground.

11. Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times and only GUIDE DOGS are allowed in

the Bar/Cafe.

12 NO MUCKING OUT OF HORSE BOXES/TRAILERS ON THE SHOW GROUND.

Please use rubbish bins provided for all your litter.

13. NO SMOKING IN THE WARM UP, COLLECTING RING, GALLERY, BAR,

STABLES OR CAFE. Designated smoking area provided outside on the patio.

14. No entries can be refunded unless either a medical or veterinary certificate is produced.

Safety:- The organisers of the show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organizers and all officials and stewards. It is the sole responsibility of all competitors to ensure that they are satisfied with the facilities before competing.

15. Children must have adult supervision at all times.

16. Horses and ponies should not be tied to lorries or left unattended whilst in the lorry park.

17. All entries must be signed., your payment of entry fee shall be deemed to be an acceptance of the above conditions, including all health and safety rules.

18. Spectators will be admitted into the viewing areas only on the understanding that they

accept the rules and conditions laid out in this schedule. NO HORSES or PONIES allowed

to stand in the collecting ring.

Collecting ring will ONLY be used for warm up

 

Please park with thought for other competitors.

Please DO NOT TIE UP HORSES or PONIES to LORRIES or TRAILERS

Security will be active in all car parks. Please report any problems to the collecting ring.
